When my fruit is red cherry soda and I think of Pop-Tarts as my carb, it is time for a change.

*SNORT* My dog had to wear that (so has my CAT for that matter). Oh the humiliation.

When Smokey was neutered, the vet suggested a spray called "bitter apple spray" for his stitches. It didn't hurt him when I sprayed it on the stitches (I was worried about that). He licked once and the awful taste kept him from licking or picking at the stitches again.

Bless her heart. Ya know I think I saw designer cones somewhere. I can't remember where, but I saw them.

June, you keep me in stiches... ha! you get it?
Posted by: melanie | May 13, 2008 at 10:14 PM
Awww, poor thing. It's impossible to not be/look miserable in one of those. :( Lots of extra loving and treats for her! Did she do any damage that needed repairing?

Awwww! Has she given you those, "Mom, I can't believe you would do this to me!" eyes? Even pissed off she's one cute pup.

Sooo... do you get any better tv stations with that satellite disk???? lol! Poor baby, and so damn adorable!

Well .. I am sure that THAT is not the fashion statement she is trying to make. Can't you at least get her a cone of shame that has some pink in it?

Oh thank goodness! Sorry to hear that Tallulah has to wear the cone, but here's the deal: my hubby is from G'boro and we're going there for Memorial Day wkend. So naturally, I would be forced to run up to every super-cool-looking gal with an adorable yellow dog, and ask in my best valley girl accent "are YOU June?" Now I can save myself some embarrassment as sweet doggy simply cannot blend in with her cone!
By the way, I found your blog when I googled "how to make chocolate cream pie". Obviously I was saying hello to pie, not bye. LOVE the blog, but cannot read at work as it induces snorting, chuckling and howling with laughter.

Awwww, Lula!!!!

She truly does look as though the wind were let out of her sails, poor girl.
I'm wondering if I wore a cone of shame if it would stop me from nibbling all day? Hmm. Food for thought. (What?! Did somebody mention food???)

how sad is it that the only thing i can think of to say is... "there's an episode of clifford about that"...
who needs to watch some adult tv once in a while? i think its me.

Ok, I have just finished reading all of your blogs including the Buy,Buy,Bye in about 2 days I might add. Stalk much? It was most sad last night on my way home from work when I saw the can of shaving cream in my car and thought, "I'm glad I found that since I am not buying right now - wait that isn't me that is June!" I do that with books too, I wonder about the main character and what they have been up to since the book ended. How sad am I. Anyway - thanks for the laughs - I was at home the night before last reading your blog and laughing so hard I was crying, not just a few tears, unable to speak, tears rolling! I will definitly keep reading!

Oh, by the way really cute dog - my other post had nothing to do with the actual thing you were talking about I just had to act like a star struck kid for a few minutes!

OH... how they hate the cone of shame. Buster had one in January... and he threw up in it. Whooo weee... that was pretty.
Lula is dang cute... cone and all. I can't wait to meet her.

can we help it if their suffering is so cute? my cat wore the cone, and even though she looked so miserable, bumping into furniture and pleading to me with her eyes- ah- the photo shoots! glorious!
