Our house is still in disarray because we have been unable to paint the bookshelves because it is raining and we can't dry it outside. And it looks like it's gonna rain all week.

So that's exciting. And not at all bad-hair-inducing.
In the meantime, remember how I told you about our mulberry tree in the back yard, and how Tallulah rolls in it and gets herself all blue? Like she's trying to become a Dalmatian or a Smurf or something?
Yesterday was particularly ridiculous.
It looks like we beat her, and she's covered in bruises or something. Anyway, notice her collar is off. A bath was imminent. Poor Lu.
I had to go out last night, but I said to Marvin, "Could you take a picture of Talu for my blog?" and when I turned on the camera today, I similarly enjoyed the pictures that did not work out.
Anyway, I got home and most of her blue has been removed, so that's a plus.
In other news, I keep forgetting to tell everyone officially what our next book club book is. I said it in the comments, but do I know who's reading the comments and who isn't? I do not. Y'all all are a mystery to me. You are the Mona Lisa of readers.
Our next book is Breakfast with Buddha by Roland Merullo. Since, once again, I took 45 centuries to say the book, let's say we'll meet here on July 10 at 2 p.m. That is a Saturday afternoon. I cannot do it July 11 because that is the day of my drag queen performance. Every time I mention my drag queen performance, I squeal on the inside.
By the way, I am thinking of doing Beyonce's All the Single Ladies now as my song for my drag queen performance. If you saw the Sex and the City movie you know why.
What say you? I think I should try to emulate all these lovely dance moves. That should be a treat. Particularly when I throw out a hip.
I guess that is all I have to tell you. I have to proofread a student guide today, and don't think I'm not excited to get started. Oooo! And don't forget to watch Oprah today, as she is interviewing Fergie. The original Fergie, the princess, not the Fergie whose band is named after a legume.
Perhaps Taluprah will be interviewing her, too, in her next issue.
