I have to go, because I've arranged to get to work at 11:00 now, so I can come home in two hours or so and let Violet out of her crate then scream back in.
Yes, I named her Violet.
Last night, Ned came over for dinner, because you know what a common occurrence THAT is, me making dinner, and Violet disappeared. You know that is always cause for alarm with pups. Whoever put that stupid bell cat collar on her was brilliant, because when you hear her jingling you know she's nearby.
"Why don't I hear the puppy?" I asked. So we went searching. She'd gone into the closet and curled up on a pile of blankets. And she STAYED there for several hours. "I'm getting her out of there," I said, "or she'll be up all night."
She did play for awhile, and the big mean dogs managed to get her toy shark from her, as opposed to those live sharks puppies like to play with, but then she toddled back to her blanket pile.
My point is, in the middle of the night, guess who had
FULL!
PUPPY!
ENERGY!
So that was fun. She still needs a home, although a few people have expressed interest. And keep the unsolicited advice coming!
Talk at you.
