Okay, officially feeling overwhelmed now. I am on the second statistics textbook that I am proofreading at night after a full day at work, and there was no break in between books. On top of that, somewhere in there I have to Christmas shop, and tonight I help NED Christmas shop (he has a niece. Who likes makeup. Who you gonna call?), and just now I finally looked in the giant pile of catalogs I have here, only to find SEVERAL BILLS caught up in between them.
Don't they usually separate catalogs and bills? What the Sam Hill? So now some of THOSE are late, because I didn't know they were in there. So that's relaxing.
Also, it's five to 8:00, and I have to be at work at 8:30, and am in robe in Marshall High School tshirt with giant hair. Marshall High School is the school that used to be right near me in LA. I used to see the poor kids in gym class running past my house, and they'd have on these gray Marshall tshirts that you KNOW they hated, and I was all, "I wonder if they sell those?" Turns out, they did. I think I am officially wearing Marvin's extra large one right now.
Sexayy.
But the good news is, today is Tallulah's birthday--she is five cute dog years old.
lu groan up now. not to mess wit lu.
Also, I called the mammyogram place yesterday because I thought, I could sit here like a NUTBAR and worry myself to death, or I could know right now. And yeah. Everything was fine.
Please note, I did not just say yay, everything is fine. I said yeah. Is there anything that bugs me more on Facebook than people writing, YEAH! It's Friday! I mean, how hard is it to know how to spell "yay"? How hard? Yeah.
See what I did, there?
Okay, going. Overwhelmedly going. If I had time I'd show you the chaos on this desk but now I have to be ready in less than 24 minutes and please see above re Marshall tshirt.
P.S. Crap. Here I am again. Hello, timely entrance into work. Y'all keep asking about the good deeds this year, and THANKS FOR OVERWHELMING ME MORE. I say this year, go out and do a Christmastime good deed, and report back in the comments TO A POST I SPECIFY, not any post willy-nilly, so that I can FIND them all and then report. I mean, in years past we paired up, so that Jan's good deed was a gift to cranky Paula, and c.Paula's good deed was a gift to Jan, but that's such a chore.
Is that okay with everyone, if we do it that way? Can you just go forth and do deeds? If you have never been here before at Christmas, we do good deeds. It can be any small thing, like opening a door or being nice to someone who seems to need it. It doesn't have to involve money at all.
What say you? Are you down with that? And if you've already done one, wait till I say "Put your good deed here." I mean, I can't even THINK about your Thanksgiving pictures yet. That will take two or three hours to post. Okay, getting hivey.
